Back in the day, even a 19-inch CRT weighed around 40 pounds and dominated your computer desk with all that junk in the trunk. But like everything else in the realm of technology, computer displays evolved. First came LCDs, and then LCD displays sporting an LED backlight like the Dell S2330 Ultra Slim monitor. That's one of the reasons why computer monitors and televisions are thinner than ever. For Dell, the S2330 Ultra Slim monitor is the company's thinnest panel ever. We're talking Mary-Kate Olsen thin, only better looking and presumably not plagued with issues.

I just wish they'd put a damn VESA mount on the back of this thing so i could mount it and show off how thin it is. Dell u idiots.

Nice, but I think the goal post has moved. The next physical improvement must have is little to no bezel for multi-monitor setups

@CDeeter I agree It would also be nice to be able to physically connect the units together with some type of mounting bracket so they don't move around on you and change the config slightly.

What I'm interested in is seeing how this performs. I mean this may be thin but does it have vibrant colors and good black levels?

EDIT: Just read this, apparently this was an ultimate letdown...

The great thing about this panel is its one of those stepping stones. the one that bridges the gap, i believe this panel will show that there is a market for high quality low cost screens. whatwe keep finding out is that we keep wanting the best but if something looks almost like it for 100dollars less will spring for that instead.
