Eleven years ago, now-defunct developer Ion Storm released Deus Ex and made video game history. The original title cast players in the role of JC Denton, a nanotech-augmented agent with the United Nations Anti-Terrorist Coalition (UNATCO) circa 2052. The game's plot is a fusion of classic conspiracy theories and a referendum on what it means to be human. The problems of humanity in 2052—plague, environmental destruction, rampant terrorism—were far enough away in time to be comfortable, but close enough to be unsettling... Deus Ex: Human Revolution: A Sequel We Always Wanted
Can't wait for this piece of art :) I loved the Deus Ex series and it does not look like I will disappointed with this one either.
Looking forward to getting home so I can play it. Was tempted to stay home, but I'll already be gone 2.5 of the next 4 weeks, so figured it would be bad to skip out just to play.
"I have never played the first Deus Ex, but I'm up for a challenge with this one. Joel, I like the steps your taking as an editor. The majority of us members are gamers, nice that you are covering them. +1"
This is going to be sweet looking forward to getting this one :) Thanks for the breakdown on the game.

"Don't Panic ! 'cause HH got's your back!"
I've played the first Deus Ex game and while I've never completed it, I do like the series in general.
Sad to see that there isn't much difference when using DX11; however, the game does look good in both versions so I don't mind that there isn't much of a difference.
Anyway, great review. Will definitely be buying the game for sure!

There's a difference between the DX11 and DX9 versions in smaller areas--which, to be fair, is where most of the game takes place. The differences are significant enough to periodically notice while playing, without being big enough to make players who opt for DX9 feel cheated. The frame rate between the two is close enough that playing in DX11 doesn't hit performance too hard, which is a nice touch.
