(Be sure to watch all the way to the very end--if you can handle the cuteness!)
*In Keanu Reeve's voice*
Just woke up so going to grab some breakfast and watch this in all it's splendor :)
"I have the power!!"
I just got a message from lbowen and he says i can have the prize computer. So you guys can just send it down my way. *haha*
Hope you enjoy the computer lbowen
LOL Nice, Michael is on his way! So is Izabella :D. Let her keep it :P
What a nice looking PC. Everything's comprised of premium parts and painstakingly put together, the right way. This seems to be the normal way you guys operate EVERY time. I've never seen you give anything away that was substandard in any way, and it's usually far better than the norm.
Dogs are great judges of character, and if your dog doesn't like somebody being around, you shouldn't trust them.
We are blessed for sure. :)

Thanks, Neil. Mighty kind of you.
That was so awesome :) You all did a great job putting that behemoth together, Thanks to Dave, Marco, and Michael for superb build work and thanks to Isabella for the final inspection :) Thank you to everyone at HotHardware and all of the sponsors. Going to take lots of pictures of this beauty and some benchmarks to show the power, so stoked!!
Awesome! You even get your own video, I bet that makes the suspense even more unbearable seeing that amazing beast all put together. Great looking PC, I am in love with that case!
Dave_HH:Thanks, Neil. Mighty kind of you.
Haha, great build quality and. You are getting one hell of a machine Lamar, enjoy.
Marco and Dave you definitely have some upcoming geeks in your families :).
LBowen: and thanks to Isabella for the final inspection :)
"LOL. LOvE this build video, nice to have the biological family take part on it, and nice to have us, the Hothardware Community Family, getting a chance to watch it. Congrats LBowen. "
"I thought The Thermaltake Level GT 10 was more bulky and intimidating, but It actually looks great and has everything I need, plus that Nice Filter on the side. That Frio cooler is awesome."
@Eunoia. 1) In the 20 or so years I've been building systems, I've never had an issue with static buildup, as long as you gound yourself first and are careful not to touch contacts or edge connectors on cards or processors, etc. And yes, for my, it makes cable management easier. You can get all the data cables nicely routed and everything mounted and then set up the power cables one at a time, etc.
2) The heatsink could only go on 1 way, and there are dual fans on that thing, so blowing up and out of the case shoudl work well. I didn't do any real testing, but the thing idles at 37c its the hot as hell in my office.

Amazing build guys! Congrats again @LBowen Dave, your kids are lucky to have that knowledge around them everyday! Computer skills will give them a jump-start once they hit the workforce.
The Thermaltake case is way better than what i was expecting. The size panel fan has connectors instead of a cable? Awesome! Very clean, very sexy system!!!! I'm sure those huge 200mm fans keep it cool and quiet. Great work!
Now you're just mashing it!
nice looking rig i saw the video today in the morning wen we gonna get the benchmark of this rig and congrats to the winner
Man what a nice looking and well built rig.! the Termaltake Level 10 GT certainly allows for some very clean and neat cable management.very nice to some of those little details in the video like the side door switch for the side panel fan as well as the HD indicator light. & yeppers that Frio is a WHOPPER of a CPU cooler.&.certainly have no problem chillin' that AMD chip no matter how its orientated in that chassis >those HyperX sticks are def underrated performance wise IMOAll the sponsors surely delivered Big Time with supplying the hardware for this rig & HH delivered a sweet build video to us ..family style .Thanks guys !
Congrats again .Llamar , you going to just love this rig !
Gotta a name for it ?
in the meantime ...tick...tick... tick...it's soon to be on it's way ...Enjoy
"Don't Panic ! 'cause HH got's your back!"
And we WILL be announcing a new sweepstakes VERY soon!
Another awesome system is on it's way. I will say the one I won on the Valentines day in 2010 still runs flawlessly. One more funny thing that CPU cooler looks exactly like mine minus the full fan over shroud/housing. When the fans were off it looked just like my massive cooling block ( a Megahalems Rev.B). Of course the housing contains and powers the too fan as well as has the controller on it, where as my fans each have a power cable to them selves. Anyway enjoy that monster system Llamar. Mine is getting closer to 2 years old now and still runs flawlessly.
HOLY BUHJESUS!! This vid just made the epicness of this beast a reality! I'm totally drooling with jealousy LB! Great build Dave, Marco and Michael! :D

Marco C:Don't forget my little Izzie.
Who could?,.....she's sweet enough to give you tooth decay. But all of that 'cuteness' is probably her mother's fault.
realneil:,.....she's sweet enough to give you tooth decay. But all of that 'cuteness' is probably her mother's fault
Awsome build, it puts my poor cable management to shame, and Izzie is just so cute.
Now we just need some benchmarks, when you recieve it, Lamar
i7 920 @ 3.8 gb, 12 gig g.skill PC3 12800 12GB (2GB x 6) CL 6-8-6-20-2N, 4 x Wd Black 640gig hd in raid 10 (storage), 2 OCZ vertex2 60gb raid 0 (boot), 2 Sapphire HD6850, Gigabyte X58A-UD5 mb, Silverstone SST-STF85F psu, cooled by corsair h50, and lots of fans in an Antec P160W case.
HOOLY MOLY! Thats a HUMONGOUS cpu cooler... Dang!!
Awesome Build and i enjoyed the video!! Congrats once again Mr. Bowen!!
Thanks for the congrats everyone :) I will post lots of pictures and screenshots of benchmarks when this beauty arrives.
Izzie is the star of the vid, she needs no mentioning! Her cuteness is most definitely obvious lol. Btw she could fit in that case, be careful she didn't climb in before sending it to LB!! lol :P
@Marco your Izzie did a fine job on that inspection as well though I think she may have wanted to keep it :)
