I like the idea of the independent 4G network that LightSquared is looking to build. Let's hope they figure out their issues. Installing filters on existing GPS devices is pretty much not an option their are far too many of them.
Totally agree, changing the spectrum sounds like the way to go. But then again, where do you shift it to that it won't interfere with the next band over? Or is this interference just related to how gps and 4g interact with each other?
Hmm, time will tell I suppose.
This seems to be a growing problem in all communications nowadays. Whats going to happen when we run out of frequency bands to work with?
