Or run out of battery. I know many pilots who think they are really great to have since it reduces the amount of manuals one has to carry. But one thing the manuals have over any tablet is they dont require battery.

That is funny...
However, I don't know why companies have to replace everything with iPads. Paper manuals; hell paper anything works just fine. An iPad is just going to mess everything up since... it's electronic and all and electronics can never fully displace paper when it comes to usage, and convenience.

Or just have a regular paper manual in hand. Paper doesn't require a charged battery you know...
