Oh boy... this isnt good. I have about 400 friends on facebook.... am active with around 30 people tops. about 200 i'd say are idiots.... about 150 arent teksavvy at all and "like" everything without realizing the consequences.
The last thing i want is my search results to be skewed by what my "friends" "like" on facebook.
nifty move, but not the best in my opinion.
is this another way of algorithmically spinning "A Robust and enrich$$ing online experience ?"
"Don't Panic ! 'cause HH got's your back!"
While I do use Facebook and Twitter I have zero interest in linking anything I do on the web with them. While I like my friends greatly I would never ask any of them for advice. Every time things like this are added I have to poke around to make sure my web experience is not being altered by things that my friends like.
In many ways I think Facebook more than any of them are changing the web for the worst.
Remember when facebook was exclusive to college kids??? I miss those days, it's not the same anymore. I'm in coolice's boat, my friends are not tech savvy at all, hence the reason for joining hothardware in the first place! My search results would be so far skewed it wouldn't be funny.
Now you're just mashing it!
I'm happy to say that this doesn't affect people who don't use either service!
Dogs are great judges of character, and if your dog doesn't like somebody being around, you shouldn't trust them.
Great now Bing/Facebook/Yahoo, and Google are gathering my data with a passion as well as an eye on there pockets!
