ePrint may not be as excited as, say, webOS 3.0, but it's still a blossoming service that has the potential to reshape how we think about printing. Printing is one of those functions that has been around forever, and has changed very little over the years. With ePrint, HP has evolved the function in a major way, and now they're connecting that one step more with a new iOS app.

The HP ePrint service App for iPhone is now available on the App Store, giving users the ability to search for and download the app to unlock the power of the HP ePrint Enterprise solution on their device. The HP ePrint Enterprise solution allows users to print within their enterprise network via an HP Managed Print Services engagement, and users can also download the app to print at thousands of locations worldwide.

With the launch of the HP ePrint service App, iPhone users can now print emails, presentations, reports, travel documents and more to any networked enterprise printer. To help mitigate security risks, all print jobs are managed by HP ePrint Enterprise Administrative Server software, ensuring that data is kept within the company’s own network.

iPhone users can easily search a directory of available print locations and use their smartphone’s GPS functionality to navigate to HP ePrint Mobile Print Locations that include print and copy retail stores as well as hotels and airport lounges. Not too shabby for free!

This is kinda good I guess although I can print from anything that has wireless built in or a USB port for an adapter. I would imagine that to be confusing for a general user to set up though I guess.

Wonder how easy it is to "pocket print" from this. :-P
