I got my plane ticket, I'm flying to "yea f*ck*ng right" island and I'm joining the RIAA. I want some of that 75 trillion.
Lol...this is the funniest thing I've read all week!

Y know what I don't think I have bought any music in quite some time if it was not digital period. However; my usual method of listening to music is over the internet, as of right now I have my headphones on and am tuned to Live365. I intend to get a payed membership as soon as I get a smart phone (they don't have Android or iPhone availability yet. Lol; I saw a post on twitter from the owner today saying he was resubmitting to the app store because Apple rejected him. I would imagine that is because they won't get near as much money if it is not on a per song scale. This is many, many internet radio stations of every type of music, of course with sub genre after sub genre to. The availability of music for the amount of money is insane. It is 12 months for 5.95 a month, 6 for 6.95 3 for 7.95. Of course I know that is all at once, but still 71.40 for a year, and I can use it on any device I own. So the internet method of delivery is the best of all genre wise. Why would I want to download music illegally all I do is put it in profiles on foobar 2000 and click a profile. If I do it this way I click a genre and save stations I like in presets. They play infinitely variable songs of the genre without end. The reason I am saying all of this is because RIAA knows there day has come. They know they are on the verge of loosing it all. I see the next thing will be radio stations such as this with music released by artists in pools. So X style is played on X preset from multiple bands, if I like 1 specific song and want it singularly to keep I pay a down rated price from that stations purveyor.
One other thing is there are regional radio stations as well commercially free in different transmission ratings (IE: same station times three with different Mh/Khz ratings for the bandwidth and sound standard required for playback. So it is or can be higher quality than MP3's. They are the rare on, but I do see them so I know it is coming in quantity.
Everyone, meet Jeeves.
When not starring in Tarzan movies or enjoying the finer things in life, he moonlights as an account(ant) for the music industry.
This is for all the nerds on this blog that have the Editor God Syndrome.

Not me,...I've bought three digital songs,.....ever.
I buy brand new whole CD's of the music that I like, and I also go to flea markets and garage sales to buy CD's too. (the real deals are there)
I also listen to Pandora for free.
Don't part with your illusions. When they are gone you may still exist, but you have ceased to live.
Man... they are going to have to come up with a way to pay that. Hmm? Maybe they can sell a program for downloading movies to make the money for it! I'm sure Hollywood wouldn't mind, not as uptight as those stiffs in the music industry.
