This is an interesting proposition, particularly when you consider the mobile platform. Google's Android OS ships with Google Maps Navigation, which is widely viewed as the best mobile GPS app in existence, has some more competition. MapQuest recently came to Android, and this week a new TeleNav app is joining the group. It's called Navigation by TeleNav, and it's completely free of charge.

The app gives users turn-by-turn 3D navigation, spoken driving directions by a human, a suggested "best route," custom options such as "no tolls," and a database of over 22 million businesses for use when you're looking for something special nearby. There's also a premium option for $19.99 (for a limited time), which is detailed just below the video.

Free is good, but as someone already noticed, DATA is not free.

Dogs are great judges of character, and if your dog doesn't like somebody being around, you shouldn't trust them.
