Agreed, definitely !! Apart from the already high premium of ownership, the Apple Tax, or how I describe it, "Apple Loyalty Royalty" is in the pricing of upgrading components directly from them.

 

03:59 - How To Build A Computer: System Assembly 101-

That's one impeccable build, very clean and tight, flawless. Man ,I remember way back in the days, having  messy Massive cable wiring, A lot of people had their wires run over the Cpu fan and ram, that was crazy.."Thank goodness we now have modular Psu's and wider cases for cable tucking.

 

06:38 - Acer Introduces 7" and 10" Android Tablets, Single Windows 7 Tablets-

That Acer 14" Iconia Notebook looks like a Nintendo DS on Steroids!! Doesn't look like it'll last long un-plugged ,but an attention getter it is, looking out for that one!!

 

09:10 - Gigabyte P67A-UD7 Preview - Intel Sandy Bridge Motherboards Break Cover-

My guess price is $289 ,maybe as low as $249, since its the Flagship model. It is off course a P67 /1155 and not  a Socket 2011"E" , and Usb 3 and Sata 6gbs were a premium , now standard ,on the new motherboards. So, under 300 isn't a bad guess for this particular model . Hopefully this Bad Boy has "UEFI" Bios!!..

Another great podcast and what makes it cooler is that i got to watch it on my new phone. So now i can watch hothardware anywheres.

I dont know what you mean by messy cable management but the only way to make that cleaner is to remove the cables.

I'm with fat78.

Unless you can get individual components to communicate via wifi you're not going to clean up that case more than it is.

I definitely could have cleaned that system more than it is. :) Modular PSU, color matched zip ties, running HD / SDD power cables behind the front bezel, tie-downs (I didn't use any), there's a lot more that could be done.

The upside is an even cleaner case. The downside is it makes it a pain to upgrade / add anything without messing evertying up.

Marco, now you're making my cable management seem like crap although Antec Three Hundreds aren't exactly known for their cable management options other than the compartment behind the drive cage.

I enjoyed watching the video so keep up the good work.  Nice, relaxed geek talk without any BS.

Marco,I think your to hard on yourself, and this is just with someone else's computer. I respect your dedication and craftsmanship, so with that in mind, I would love to see some photos your personal rig, that's gotta be something out of this world!!
