Windows Phone 7 handsets have been out for a few weeks here in the U.S. and now, Fengtao Software wants you to know its DVDFab software supports Windows Phone 7 compatible formats. This means you'll be able to use the company's DVD and Blu-ray ripping tools, DVD Ripper and Blu-ray Ripper, to remove known DVD and Blu-ray protections and rip your favorite videos to a format that is compatible with your new Windows Phone 7 handset. With the holidays coming up and many people making travel plans, there's no doubt many of us will want videos to watch in the airport and during those long car trips (provided you're not the driver, of course.)

DVDFab Supports Windows Phone 7 -- Helps You Freely Watch Any DVD/Blu-ray on WP7

BEIJING, Nov. 26, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Microsoft Corporation, the global leader in software, solutions and services, released Windows Phone 7 – a mobile operating system -- a few weeks ago. It is aimed at the consumer market instead of the enterprise market like its predecessor. It launched in Europe, Singapore and Australia on October 21, 2010, and in the US & Canada on November 8, 2010, with Asia to follow in 2011. It is a different kind of phone designed to bring together what users care about most. Something completely new and a total break from the past for Windows.

Windows Phone 7 Overview (quoted from the website of Microsoft):

  • Quickly see everything you care about with Live tiles on your Start screen.
  • Your contacts and Facebook updates. Together.
  • Sort, scan, and manage your work and personal mail with ease.
  • All your work and personal events in a single view.
  • The web as it was meant to be seen.
  • Go from pocket to picture in seconds.
  • View, edit, share and sync Office docs—from anywhere.
  • Play movies, TV shows, and music on the go.
  • One button to Bing, and get just what you're looking for.

A wide range of video and audio formats supported by Windows Phone 7:

WMV, 3GP, 3G2, AVI, MP4, M4V, H.264, DivX, WMA, etc.

Since its release, it received many encouraging reviews. Many are impressed by its informative, eye-catching and clean interface, its capability in hardware control, and a wide variety of great capacities and conveniences it brings to users.

Now happy to let you know that DVDFab, produced by Fengtao Software that aims to keep improving to provide users much better multimedia software and services, supports Windows Phone 7 compatible formats completely with its professional and powerful DVD/Blu-ray ripping tools -- DVD Ripper & Blu-ray Ripper.

DVD Ripper and Blu-ray Ripper can remove all known DVD/Blu-ray protections to help users freely rip and convert DVD/Blu-ray content to almost all video/audio formats compatible with Windows Phone 7 for playback. Happy user experience is ensured by its super fast speed, excellent output quality, robust customizing tools, user friendly functions, etc.

With the aid of DVDFab DVD Ripper and Blu-ray Ripper, you can freely watch your favorite DVD or Blu-ray on Windows Phone 7 wherever you go. Fantastic!

If you're the kind of person who wants to watch their movies or listen to audio on any device you own... why would you buy the phone from the one company that constantly cuddles up to the MPAA/RIAA on the issue of DRM?

DVDFab works fine with Android and iPhone too... Not that you actually need it to convert movies (there's free software for that) for those platforms.

What part of "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" don't you understand?

Agreed.

DVDFab works fine and has been working fine for me for a long time.

I use HandBrake for ripping some movies to my iPod. (it's only 160GB)They look surprisingly good on that tiny screen too.

Dogs are great judges of character, and if your dog doesn't like somebody being around, you shouldn't trust them.
