For whatever reason, people love to buy limited edition products. Even random limited edition products like cars, foods and even PCs. iBUYPOWER has just launched two new AMD Phenom II x6-powered towers in limited edition dragon chassis, and for those who aren't looking to buy their own machine piece-by-piece, these look like solid options.

The new Dragon Chassis was designed in conjunction with AMD, boasting red eyes, wings spread and a pretty wild overall paint scheme. These rigs also come with loads of high-end components, and they can be configured with the powerful six core Phenom II x6 processor. It also ships with comes two cooling fans and liquid cooling availability, though the lower-end machines start at just $439. Not bad!

Why put Intel parts into an obvious AMD case?

Besides, the case you're already looking at, the Sniper, is bad-ass.

lol, well the case looks REAL nice so why not :). Even if it says AMD on the front, it doesn't mean it can't have intel guts :)

Yes, it's a nice looking case. Some would call it sacrilegious to put Intel parts into a Dragon Themed Case though.

I agree, for such a good price, one could get used to the red real fast.

Yeah; I don't know about the AMD/Intel debate in a dragon case. I know AMD used the Dragon name on one of there hardware combination's, but how does that give that to AMD? I mean it is really just a marketing thing anyway (IE: "AMD Dragon Platform"). Either way sweet looking case, not to mention a six core system contest would be very sweet, be it Intel or AMD!

RMedley:

I don't think that they have any kind of ironclad claim to the use of a dragon, but the one on this case is the exact one that's been used in AMD's advertising. The AMD Logo is all over it too

.

I agree,..it's a very nice design on this case. And a Hex-Core PC would be nice to have, especially once software code catches up, and can actually use the technology.

I have plans to build a Hex-Core in the next few months.
