CiragoTV has just thrown caution to the wind and introduced yet another media player into a world chock full of them. With Roku, Apple TV and countless others making their way into homes everywhere, consumers have more options than ever when it comes to streaming networked or Internet-based content onto their televisions. The new CMC3000 network multimedia center is a compact new device that's designed to play back 1080p media, and it has built-in timeshift technology that allows users to pause, record and playback live TV programming -- just like a DVR.

It ships with a 500GB or 1TB hard drive, support for connected NAS drives, PC/Mac compatibility, UPnP support and Wi-Fi support via an optional adapter. There's even an integrated BitTorrent client that can keep downloads going in the background without the assistance of a PC, and there's a built-in card reader for reading media from smaller flash devices. The 1 TB CiragoTV Platinum lists for $249.99 MSRP and the 500 GB model lists for $229.99 MSRP, and there's a video below showcasing the highlights. That is, if you haven't already had your mind set on a Boxee Box...

I like my $99.00 Roku, Thank You.

Dogs are great judges of character, and if your dog doesn't like somebody being around, you shouldn't trust them.
