Don't part with your illusions. When they are gone you may still exist, but you have ceased to live.

These are all such amazing shots. I love threads like these that show a better side of the turbulent times we live in, great way to relax and enjoy the simpler things.

Wow some nice photography! Mine was all super amateur but it's been a lot of fun.
@Realneil. I call your barred owl and raise you a chipmunk! Actually really lucked out with this, I was so close when he fell asleep, wasn't even using my zoom lol.
Very nice PFeenstra and Manduh. I unfortunately don't get out in nature enough and only usually get to take photos of my daughter so I don't have anything to even compare with the stuff you guys and Realneil have to offer. Thanks for sharing
It's not a photo contest, post anything you want to.
"Sorry for the change in the mood, but Scarlett Johansson is so, so, so beautiful, very pleasant to the eyes."

PFeenstra: Ah you don't have to apologize for that ^^ hahah.
"Yeah, one things for sure, 'Her Milkshake brings all the boys to the yard"
@realneil Oh I understand that I personally just don't like to put pictures of my daughter up on the internet. But I found some older photos from a few years ago that are pretty nice. These are from a rowing competition in Massachusetts enjoy.

So I went for a drive. As usual, click it twice to get to the full sized shot.
So this is a picture of the cake my wife made for my daughters second birthday party. The thing was massive.
That cake is a work of art. Things like this are what families remember for life.
Tell her that she's got it going on with her cakes.
Lighthouse (a famous one) on the coast of Virginia.
Thanks I will be sure to pass the message on to the wifey. I was really impressed with it as she has not training and came up with the design all on her own.
What lighthouse is that it looks very old but well kept.
omegadraco:she has not training and came up with the design all on her own
And THAT'S what made it better, it looks home made. (home made = better)
Been snapping lots of my pets lately. My new Oscar Fish Toro and my cat Jeff Goldblum lol
