Toshiba announced its premier Cinema Series line of HDTVs, featuring the VX700 Series and the WX800 3D Series LED HDTVs. The WX800 delivers a three-dimensional experience when using a pair of optional Toshiba 3D glasses, Toshiba's BDX3000 3D Blu-ray Disc player, and a 3D capable HDMI cable. The WX800 boasts of a depth of less than 1.2 inches. The WX800 comes in 55-inch and 46-inch screen sizes and also features built-in 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi capability.
The Toshiba VX700 Cinema Series offers many of the same features as the WX800 but without 3D capabilities. Also available in 55-inch and 46-inch screen sizes, the VX700 also has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity as well as two USB ports, an SD/SDHC card slot, and support for DLNA file sharing.

The VX700's LED edge lighting system achieves a high 5M:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and enables the set to show content with rich, lifelike detail, especially with the support of Toshiba's ClearFrame™ 120Hz technology. Shouldn't it say, Toshiba releases it's first 3D HDTV. There have already been a lot of 3D HDTV's out there in the market.
