Look at the very top of your Steam client. Go to "Games" -> then "Activate a Product on Steam" -> then just click through the menus until you get to a part where you can enter in the code Marco sent you. I think that should do it.

Yes, the 'activate a product' link did it for me. I copy and pasted the code into the space provided and Steam did the rest.

It's a cool game,.......

Heh, that too!  But the Eyefinity contest was judged by ASUS as far as I know, so I didn't bother mentioning that  :P

I think somewhere in that thread is the real answer, and if I remember correctly, it was you that said it.  I tried a quick search but wasn't able to find it, but to paraphrase: "Stick around this site long enough, and you're bound to win something".  In my brief time on here, I've seen HotHardware already host 5 or 6 giveaways and I really think that sentiment is true.

Thanks Marco and the rest of you HH guys!

I have enough games to keep me occupied for the moment (I could happily play just L4D/L4D2 for the next year ), so I decided to play the karma forward and re-gifted my code to one of the Wine developers who's responsible for a lot of their DirectX implementation.

So, he gets a great game as appreciation for his work, and I reap the rewards later when he's got a good DX10+ test candidate to help him test. Win/win, really.

Thanks again!

Heh, I wish this game had some kind of multiplayer. I wonder what a match involving all HH members would be like. Probably instead of fighting we'd all be running in circles and whipping the mouse around to see how tinkering with various settings affects the frame-rate.

I sure like taking the bad guys out with the Hook. I don't like that it takes 3-4 shoots with shot gun to kill a man

Naw, I'd be blowing everyone else away whenever I could!

I don't usually do well in death-match games, my reaction times are too slow. I end up waiting to re-spawn or something like it.

Yeah the aiming in this game is pretty wonky. I hate how I can be aiming right at someone's head but keep missing. It was made to assists with hits, but at the price of accuracy. The hook is incredibly fun though. I feel like Spiderman.

@realneil

I'm the same way. I never have enough time to play a game to get good at it, so I do terrible in multiplayer. I did get pretty good at the 1st Halo though.

Thanks again for the game!  been playing it a lot, and am really amazed by the size of the map.  Takes a long time to get from one end to the other, with no annoying load times.  Not to mention you can take a plane almost to orbit.

I played the Metro demo and it's too short to really get a feel for the game.

Good visuals and graphics though.

I sure like taking the bad guys out with the Hook. I don't like that it takes 3-4 shoots with shot gun to kill a man

we'd all be running in circles and whipping the mouse around to see how tinkering with various settings affects the frame-rate

@realneil

I'm the same way. I never have enough time to play a game to get good at it, so I do terrible in multiplayer. I did get pretty good at the 1st Halo though.

Yeah and don't believe that you'll have loads of time once you retire either. It just doesn't happen.

Thanks Marco! I'll pass it along to my son Super Rob as I lack the hardware to run it. Rob, who just happens to have a Steam account, was really happy when I broke the news to him! HotHardware rules!

So is the contest over?  If that's the case, who didn't get a code and wants one?  I still have an extra.

It's good of you to give it away. If nobody else jumps, then I'd like it for my grandson.

Enjoy.

They change it up too often to see a pattern usually.

Playing it in between periods of near quiet and family drama. Enjoy the game immensely, not so much the drama.
