What are your top 10 PC games?

I'm curious to see HH's taste in games.  Multiplats are cool too.

No particular order, just whatever I think of (except HL2, it's my all time favorite):

1.  Halflife 2:  to me it's perfect.  It just builds and builds.  There's never a slow spot that isn't at least scary.

2.  Blade Runner:  I love the movie, so maybe I'm a bit biased, but the game itself is a great point&click adventure

3.  Total Annihilation:  I sucked horribly at it, but setting a Krogoth or Peewee horde loose on the field is one of the best feelings ever

4.  Fallout 3:  I'd never explored a such a huge world that was also filled with so much detail

5.  Planescape Torment:  the first game where the plight of the characters actually affected me

6.  Half Life:  FPSs can have good stories?  Who'd have thunk?  I think I'm one of the few people who actually liked Xen

7.  Tyrian:  I played this game to death.  I loved clearing the screen with the Plasma Storm

8.  Red Alert 2:  another game I sucked at, but loved.  Tesla Troopers FTW

9.  Mass Effect 2:  1st game in a while that I've played more than twice.  Can't wait for the 3rd one

10.  Sanitarium:  for me this ties with Planescape Torment for best story in a game.

Not necessarily in the order... but those are all games I enjoyed Thoroughly.

No order.. But here are some of my favorites.

Sam and Max [the whole series]

Original Doom series [aka Doom 1,2, Ultimate Doom and Final Doom]

Command and Conquer [the original + Red Alert and Generals + related expansions].

Diablo 1 & 2 and related expansions.

Warcraft 1 & 2 and related expansions [didn't care for Warcraft 3 and WOW is a major money sink].

Neverwinter Nights [+ all expansions, I like NWN 2 too just not in my top 10].

Unreal Tournament, 2k3 & 2k4. - never got into UT3 much.

Half Life - one of the best if not the best ever.

Descent - the original is one of my favorite PC games ever great multiplayer.

Starcraft. - nuff said [i'll need to check out the sequel when it drops in price].

Ah the Descent series, I love those.  I've never raged as hard as I did at the Thief bot in D2.  I never got all the way through III though, it didn't play nice on my Vista PC.  I really like the Freespace games too.

What? Battlefield 2 was at least better then Bad Company 2.

I prefer battlefield bad company 2 over classics because they realy made it a much faster fps game, more tactics are involed in it. and have you seen the graphic engine they use in it? pretty much anything can be blown up.

 ( only fun if you play on hardcore servers, softcore gets to easy)

Just my opinion dosnt mean every one has to like it but prefer the game over the others.

Also would love if dice makes battlefield 1944 on pc or expand on battlefield 1943 and bring it to pc.

Yes, I appriciate the fact that you can blow stuff up (I played the game myself) but I like Battlefield 2 due to it having more options and bigger battles. Personally I do love Battlefield Bad Company 2 but I appriciate Battlefield 2 more; cause it actually gives you most of the stuff that you can ever want or need before going into battle. Makes it a little bit more noob friendly then Battlefield Bad Company 2 where you are forced to play on softcore mode until you get the stuff that you can pawn with in the hardcore more.

ok you like battlefield 2 more i like bad comapany 2 more. not every one is going to like the same games.

Unreal 2k4: Maybe not the best UT game, but the first game I played for an extended period of time. Got me into FPSers. I have UT3, but I just never got into it like 2k4.

Team Fortress 2: Got this game in 2007 and still play it to this day. Jen and I play it almost ever day.

Portal: The game that got my girl into FPSers. She loved to watch me play TF2, but it was Portals take on FPSers that enabled her to find her bearings and have fun in an environment that didn't kill her right off the bat and let her discover in a surprisingly open game for such closed in places.

Minecraft: It's not finished and if you don't read up on it you will be pretty lost, but I think that is half the fun. A open world were you can do what you want yet keep my attention better than and GTA game ever did.

Halflife games: Some of the best story telling I've ever seen in gaming.

Empire games: Not one I can really say is the best. I've played them all and I love them all.

Killing Floor: While I love the L4D games my friends and I seem to go back to Killing Floor more than L4D. Maybe that's just because of the on going skill building. Idk.

The Ship: While the servers have been long shut down it was a interesting game type that did something different that kept me coming back.

Beat Hazard: Fun little game that gets compared to audiosurf way to often. Two totally different games.

Lead and Gold: A game that doesn't get enough credit. It has issues with servers, but it could have been one of the best multiplayer games around.
