How can a business user use a Mac on the road? Macs are severely limited compared to a Windows system when it comes to business.
Spirit of America, iWork, Microsoft Office for Mac, the many Office apps for Macintosh. There are many ways a business user can use a Mac on the road, though this Mac is not for them.

How can anyone use a Mac period? Gah! :-P
Lol acarzt, agree. But people still pay for it and use it, many buy it because they think its the best...
$1,400.00 or more.
I have a iMac 24" with over 48,000 Photos on it. (over 1.2 Terra-bytes worth)
It's job is to take care of my pictures and it does it well. When I bought it, Vista was the current flavor at Microsoft and I thought it sucked, so I bought the Mac. I still use it, it still works great, but I prefer my PC's on a daily basis.
I probably wouldn't buy another one, and it was expensive at $2,700.00.

Jeebus! For $2700 I could build an AMAZING Gaming rig!
acarzt: Jeebus! For $2700 I could build an AMAZING Gaming rig!
Yeah, and so could I,.......
At the time, I had cash to spare after selling a house in Sunny California. Since then I bought my house here in Virginia, a new 4X4 Toyota Tacoma Crew-Cab, and a new Hyundai Sonata. All paid for (setting up my retirement) in cash. Now I live frugally within my means on my two retirement incomes that will never increase or decrease. Because I own all this crap already, I can still afford to live, even though the economy has since tanked. I still save a little money every month too. I'm alright,...........
As for the iMac,....when I bought it it was the most expensive iMac they had. I was disgusted/done with Microsoft (remember VISTA?) and wanted the best Mac I could get on a desktop. The CPU that's in it is the Intel 'Extreme' CPU that went for 1000 bucks all by itself at the time. The 24" screen was a premium, as was the 500 gig drive. (at that time) It came with 2GB of RAM in it and Apple wanted $750.00 to double it to 4GB. I bought the 4GB (2-2GB) from Crucial for $315.00 and saved a bundle. Yes, It was expensive,........and no, I wouldn't do it again. It has a 2TB drive in it now and still has the 4GB of RAM in there because it's maxed out. There are two 2TB Firewire-800 drives connected to it in daisy-chain mode as well. I can't say anything bad about it because it works, all of the time too, without any problems at all.
It doesn't game worth a crap,...but my Win7 boxes do.
'..That's too be expected.'? Spell check!
For $2700 I could buy a nice pound of some good stuff and sell it in Silicone valley for double. They'd smoke it and come and up with an even better product. Maybe they could build an iBong.
iBong hahaha, my god, I laughed so hard it hurt. Now that's funny. I don't care who you are.

Why buy, just grow your own,............
bunch of druggies on this site lol
acarzt: bunch of druggies on this site lol
Not anymore, stopped that crap years ago. But growing is far less expensive than buying for most people.
If they don't sell it under 1 large, whats the point if it? As usual they will probably over price the stupid thing (if it's true, it's starting to creep into netbook territory).
