Price? OCZ just never stops, they come out with better things everyday! If its not too expensive i might consider this for a new rig i need soon as my current one is just killing me :(. Got to save up some more money first!

No worries, Inspector, it WILL be "too expensive." If people here can't spend $70 on a wicked fast SSD, they aren't going to pay a premium to get a 4 GB DIMM at more than twice the cost of a comparable 2 GB unit.
At the onset, I'm sure they're aimed at professionals-- CAD/CAM designers etc.-- who need fast memory and lots of it. Gamers tend to imagine they need more than they really do; fitting 16 GB (24 for a Nehalem) into your computer would be overkill at the moment.
Of course, programmers tend to code for the high-end systems (still following Bill Gates' advice of ten years ago) and therefore this amount of memory will be necessary someday. Me? I have yet to fill up those two additional slots on my motherboard.

I agree, It will be expensive and most of us really don't "NEED" it either. On top of that, there are the 'trust issues' associated with water cooled components. I have this nagging "what if it leaks" in the back of my head every time I see those water hose fittings. I understand that it's unreasonable thinking on my part, that such a thing probably wouldn't occur,............but if it did, it would be a catastrophe for someone who can't run out and replace everything at the drop of a hat. (or a water drop anyway)
Additionally, air cooled components work great, cost less, and come without the trust issues I mentioned.
Don't part with your illusions. When they are gone you may still exist, but you have ceased to live.

I have had good experiences with water cooling thus far.
But there is always the chance...
personally. I think it's going to be expensive if people op for 8GBs or more but if it's not them I might go for 8GB's cause that's mostly all the RAM I'll ever need right now.

Unless these chips have hit some nice timings AND high speeds... than all that speed isn't gonna be worth much. It's all about hitting the sweet spot between tight timings and high clock speed.
Water cooling seem like over kill... but if you barely have any air cycling through the system because everything else is water cooled... it might be a good alternative.
