Mobile TV in America is still one of those technologies that is eithertoo ahead of its time, or simply unwanted in its current state. Tons ofadvertising has been done to showcase the tech, but for one reason oranother, it's not nearly as popular as one might think. Then again, neither is downloading music directly onto your cellphone. But that'snot stopping AT&T from adding another smartphone in an attempt toget people hooked on mobile TV one more time, as the LG Vu Plus has justbeen announced for America's largest GSM network.

The phone is AT&T's newest Mobile TV-capable device, offering HSPA7.2Mbps high-speed support, a 4-line QWERTY keypad, access to TV contentcourtesy of FLO TV ($9.99 per month), a full HTML Web browser, AT&TNavigator, AT&T Social Net, a front 3" touch screen, and a microSDexpansion slot. We will say, this isn't one of the most fully-featuredsmartphones, but the standout feature isn't Android or anything of thesort: it's simply the FLO TV support. You're basically buying this onesolely to watch TV on, and if that's perfect for you, you can buy it for$149.99 after a mail-in rebate and 2-year contract starting early nextmonth.
