I am a total Ford guy!
It is still funny that the Fiesta is still around. Back in the day when it was introduced, It was a big joke. About the only thing it had going for it, is that it had a little more power than a Suzuki Samurai, which couldn't even go up a hill steeper than 20degrees. You had to trust on Fred and Barney for that!
It is kinda interesting that they are introducing it on the Fiesta, I guess they need something to make people want to buy it. Even though it is their answer for fuel efficient low cost cars. I guess having an app that allows you to control your car is a good thing. Hopefully they will have a personal tracking system for when they get stolen, so you can monitor it through your phones GPS. Then again if it is a Fiesta then you might do better getting the insurance, yet really who would steal one in the first place.
Why the Fiesta first? I guess they want to inject a little life into the vehicle. I don't have a Ford but a buddy told me how he loves it in his F-250. The navigation feature sounds amazing as he described it. If they can continue to progress these types of features Ford could definitely sneak up on everyone and possibly end up as one of the most progressive auto makers. Imagine that! I'd love to sync all my BlackBerry apps with Sync and have all my contacts for instance there at my disposal. This will be interesting to watch unfold.
michaelvettel: Ford explorer parts should be equipped with this technology for easier access
And it should work whether the Exploder/Explorer is on all four wheels or upside down too!
Don't part with your illusions. When they are gone you may still exist, but you have ceased to live.
