I suspect that you will find out very soon! Sometimes it is best to visit the mobo manufacturer's website and view the list of approved memory before making the RAM purchase, D3VIL.

The Ripjaws aren't on the approved list. But the thing is, Gigabyte can't test every memory out on the market. The ones that are approved are exactly the same in terms of specs though (timings, speed, and voltage). Hopefully, the reviews you have been reading are just user reviews and they just got bad sticks.
