The PMA show is underway, and we're seeing plenty of announcements from all of the top camera manufacturers. Not to be left out, Casio showed up to the show with a few new models that are designed to balance technology with style. The new EX-S7 and the EX-Z35 compact digital cameras are part of the EXILIM line and feature a slim and stylish compact design. Both models feature Casio’s latest EXILIM Engine 5.0.

The EX-S7 is a 12.1 megapixel camera with a 3X optical zoom lens and a 2.7-inch LCD screen. This camera has a dedicated movie button that makes it easy to record videos in 720p HD. The EX-S7 also features Casio's Dynamic Photo feature which is a Hollywood-like green-screen effect that lets you add graphics into still photos. The EX-S7 will be available in the spring for $139.99 and is available in black and purple.

Nice I love seeing things expand like this. Where 10 meg cameras were a big thing a short time ago. Now they go over that making them common, and the prices on things like DSLR's has to deal with that to. This is how in many ways technology prices drop with new technology. So I want a DSLR for example, this camera release by spring or around that time. Then next Black Friday I get a DSLR at around 12 MP, with all the speed and capabilities of a DSLR, plus custom lens abilities etc for 150 cheaper or more.
