Take 50 pounds of books and condense them into the palm of your hand. With BarMax, you squeeze thousands of pages of bar exam course material and over 1,500 real multiple choice and essay practice questions into your iPhone or iPod Touch. In addition, once you purchase the app, we send you a complete Welcome Packet with hundreds of pages of supplemental material, on-screen outlines, practice exams, and suggested as well as optional hard copy printouts.
That's actually not bad for a bar exam app, as long as it's good. I'd gladly pay $1,000 for a worthy USMLE prep app.
Yeah my thoughts to although the people who bought the original had to be absolute idiots. This one actually sounds like a bit of a bargain especially wit a free I-phone which is 300 bucks at the lowest.
Yeah, it's a nice racket these standardized testing companies have going. The test themselves can cost $1000+ so a test prep course can actually help you save money by avoiding having to take your exam a second time.
I just saw the free IPhone, I'm guessing they just lend it out to you rather than let you keep it.
The fact that 6 people bought nothing but a shiny iPhone 'bling' picture for a thousand bucks says allot.
You have to wonder if they fell out of the top bunk bed onto their heads a lot as children.
One has to wonder if they ever tell others what they've done.
Don't part with your illusions. When they are gone you may still exist, but you have ceased to live.

Rofl realneil I was wondering the same thing, however who ever was smart enough to make 6 grand off of people this gullible I would say is a genius. A grand for some bling on your i--phone the reality of this just escapes me entirely.
Lol, 6 grand for a minimal amount of work is not bad at all. I wonder if I made a similar app for $100 a pop how many people would buy it.
Only one way to know gibbersome and thats to do it. Make one called the greatest app ever made for 150 when they open it it scream sucka over and over again until they reset the phone lol.
Let me know how it turns out.
Haha, I think that would qualify as malware!

I'm pretty sure Apple would flag it and not release it. However, this new app seems like a great idea. After all, it truly is an innovation for law students and may now give one of them a reason to get an iphone or touch.

As my Microbio professor used to say, "frequent short periods of memorization work better than less frequent long periods." That was one reason he advocated carrying a stack of notecards wherever we went so we could review the materials. With apps like these, all your notecards can be stored onto a portable iPod Touch/iPhone.
Make no mistake though, the price is according to how much law students are willing to pay for it. A similar NCLEX (nursing) prep costs around $150-200. There are also several cheaper programs for the ACT, SAT, SAT II's, GRE's.
At the moment, the Law school business is doing really well. At my school, law school applications jumped more than 50% from last year. It's as though people are realizing that MBA degrees are worth less than the paper they're printed on.
Yeah I still wonder how those who bought the initial thousand dollar app were satisfied with there purchase lol. The BAR exam app seems like actually a good trade for the money. The initial one though I bet those people were mas as he** when they saw what they had gotten.
lol hey if your rich you got to show it off :D.
Now about the app... I would buy it if i was studying law, which i plan to do at least my parents want me to -.- (time to make them pay for this app... lol)
