Gib, that's known as the "social AFK" in online RPGs. There always seems to be someone lonely who wants to start a conversation with you when you're trying to battle your way through hordes of monsters. I guess that applies in real life, too!
Here's my iPod Touch wish list: One that would start the coffee maker when you hit the snooze bar. Oh, and that includes putting the coffee into the brewer and taking some half & half out of the fridge.
Wish list aside, that's a pretty good clock app. As it's free, I'll try it out, and maybe even spring for the iHome dock (their other iPod/iPhone products are pretty well regarded).
