The power of the press wins again. Microsoft acknowledged that their Win7 USB/DVD Tool incorporates GPL'd code from another application, so they'll have to remove the restrictions they added to its use and offer the source - just like the original app did.

For those not in the know, Microsoft has copied code from free sources many times before: just look for copyrights from the regents of the university of california in the srings of popular TCP/IP apps (That's BSD code).
