We just finished our third video podcast with the good folks over at TechVi. In this installment, Marco explains mixing brands of graphics cards with Lucid's Hydra and Dave breaks down how Apple seems to be losing its software edge. We also talk about the big Intel and AMD settlement and its consequences, and a Core i7 based gaming notebooks.Show Notes: :30 — Home of HotHardware :43 — Sharing GPUs with Lucid's Hydra 2:36 — Decline in Apple software quality 4:41 — Laptop hunters 5:20 — Intel and AMD 7:30 — Core i7 gaming notebooks
Commercial was short: +1, extra Avis advert... understandable. LOVE the show notes with the timestamps for the features. That's nice.
More good stuff. Keep it going....
Even though you know I'm not a fan of the 2mins of Apple bashing - lol. You know I will also argue back on the "My product cost less than yours": Microsoft doesn't make PCs - and Apple OS updates are cheaper. But, you guys still made good informative points all around.
Keep expanding the length and going into more detail. I'm thinking 12-15 minutes would be perfect.
People read the stupidest things. Like this sig, for instance.
Thanks bro. We'd love to go a little longer too, but then we wouldn't be able to get them posted to YouTube. I guess we don't HAVE to post on YouTube though...

Maybe I'm remembering wrong... but if you get enough "fans", aren't you allowed to post longer videos?
Here's how you do it: http://www.youtube.com/partners
I wish I could watch the video :-(
Youtube is blocked at work
Core i7 920|EVGA X58|GTX295|2x30GB Vertex RAID0
CompTIA A+ Certified, CompTIA Network+ Certified, MCP Certified.
Informative + Entertaining + Not too long(for those of us with A.D.D.) = Hot!!!
Thanks guys, glad you like it! They will be coming weekly, as in hopefully every Friday like clockwork. God help you all! LOL!

Ahhh, MSI has a motherboard for the Lucid Hydra already? NICE! Haha, I find it easier to retain more info from a video rather than reading it. Welcome to the TV generation. Well at least we're better off than the Iphone/sms generation.
Nice review again guys! Dave, really digging your smooth, laid back style. Liked the info on the turbo mode.
Are the videos shot in one 10 min stretch?

As the great Bill O'Reilly once said, "we do it live!!". Glad you dig it Gibbs!
Hehe... yeah, who would think failure to comprehend that the text "...and to play us out, here is Sting..." could elicit such confusion and rage in an adult: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tJjNVVwRCY
Yeah Marco gets pissed at the webcam all the time. You should see it. I think he's smashed like 8 Logitech cams over the past month. Poor little things.... pummled. Logitech loves it though! They just keep making them! I'm just gonna setup UPS for the guy on auto-delivery from Logitech.
Dave_HH:Logitech loves it though!
Yeah... I've busted a couple Logi mice in conjunction with a rage quit!

Lol, now that would be a funny vid.
*5 mins into Podcast No. 4*
TechVi: So what do you think of AMD's tech roadmap for the next two years?
Marco: RAAWR!! *flies into hulk rage and destroys Logitech cam*
