Talk about being on a roll -- Super Talent has been quite the busy bunch of late. After certifying its UltraDrive SSD line for use on Macs and introducing a promising 6TB SSD RAID server system, the company is back with yet another new revelation: the MasterDrive EX2 and MasterDrive IX2.

Starting this week, the company will be shipping both of those lines of PATA/IDE 2.5" SSDs, with feature MLC and SLC Flash and are said to "nearly triple" the previous performance specifications. The MasterDrive EX2 is available with capacities from 16GB to 128GB, features sequential read speeds up to 80 MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 40MB/s, and uses MLC flash.  It also comes with a 2 year factory warranty. The MasterDrive IX2, on the other hand, is available with capacities from 16GB to 64GB, enables sequential read speeds up to 80 MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 60MB/s, and uses SLC flash; it too comes with a 3 year factory warranty.

There's no mention of pricing just yet, but we suspect we'll hear that at Computex next week. The full line of EX2 and IX2 drives are detailed below.
