MSI Launches Two New Notebooks

MSI is expanding its lineup once again, this time with two new notebooks. The new EX723 targets users looking for entertainment, while the new GT729 satisfies those looking for speed and power.

The EX723 features a 17-inch LCD with a resolution of 1440 x 900. This 16:10 screen is capable of displaying DVD caliber images for your gaming and viewing pleasure. MSI's exclusive VIVID LCD technology helps this notebook display better richness in colors and provide all of the fine details when gaming, editing images, or watching movies.

This notebook uses an Nvidia GeForce G110M graphics card with 512MB VRAM to provide fluid, detailed, and realistic graphics display. Other key specs include Intel Centrino 2 technology with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and the Intel PM45 Express Chipset. With the notebook’s optional Blu-ray drive and Theater Class 4 speakers and subwoofer, you’ll enjoy movies in full 1080p with rich sound. The notebook also provides an HDMI connection.

The EX723 uses MSI’s ECO Engine to help save power and extend battery running time while performing different tasks. The ECO touch sensor provides easy access to five different modes – Gaming mode, Movie mode, Presentation mode, Office mode, and Turbo Battery mode.

MSI’s new GT729 provides easy access to overclocking capabilities with its Turbo Drive Engine Technology. By pressing the turbo button above the keyboard, you can increase the speed of the CPU. The GT729 features the latest DDR 3 System RAM and Intel Centrino 2 Processor Technology, which uses an Intel Core2 Duo processor and Intel PM45 Express Chipset. Like the EX723, the GT729 also uses MSI’s ECO Engine to help conserve battery power.

The GT729 features a 17-inch LCD and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4850 3D graphics card with DDR3 1G VRAM.  Multimedia features include the latest E-SATA support, a high-definition multimedia interface, a 2.0 megapixel webcam, and an optional DTV receiver for watching television shows on demand.

For gaming, the GT729 has an independent numeric keypad to the right of the keyboard as well as colorful W, A, S, and D keys on the keyboard. For full enjoyment of your games and movies, the GT729 incorporates four theater class bass speakers and a subwoofer.
