MSI Introduces GX623 And GX633 Gaming Notebooks

MSI is at it again, today unleashing a pair of new gaming notebooks that are quite difficult to differentiate at first glance. We'll start with the GX623, which arrives with the company's exclusive Turbo Drive Engine that enables one-touch access to overclocking. On the flip-side, the unit also includes an ECO Engine that enables it to conserve power when less intensive applications are running.

Specs wise, it features a 15.4" LCD, an ATI Radeon HD4670 graphics card (512MB of DDR3 RAM), a built-in S/PDIF audio port, a Core 2 Duo processor, Intel's PM45 Express chipset, an eSATA socket, 2.0-megapixel webcam and an HDMI port. There's also 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, an independent numeric keypad to the right of the keyboard, Gigabit Ethernet, three USB 2.0 ports, a 4-in-1 multimedia card reader and up to 4GB of memory.

The GX633 is eerily similar, as you could likely guess by the model number. The main difference is the inclusion of NVIDIA's GeForce GT 130M graphics card, AMD's Turion X2 Ultra dual-core CPU and 7.1-channel audio support.
