If you’re a fan of multiplayer gaming but hate the hassle of
packing up your computer in order to go to a LAN party, iBuyPower
has you covered with its latest PC. The LAN Warrior is a Core i7-based powerhouse
in a small form factor case. The LAN Warrior’s included carrying strap and

“We designed the LAN Warrior for gamers that need more power
than a gaming laptop can provide,” said Darren Su, vice president of iBuyPower.
“With the space for 2 dual-slot video cards and a liquid cooled Intel Core i7
Processor, the LAN Warrior is just as powerful as systems twice its size.”

The LAN Warrior starts at $999 and offers many customization
options. The base model utilizes an Nzxt Rogue Mid Tower gaming case and comes
with an Intel Core i7 920 processor. Core i7 940 and Core i7 965 processors are
also available. You’ll find an Asus Rampage II Gene X58 motherboard as well as
3GB of memory in the base model. If you prefer more memory, you can upgrade to 12GB
of DDR3-1866 RAM.

For storage, the LAN Warrior offers a 500GB Serial-ATA-II
7,200 rpm drive. Numerous storage upgrade options are available as well including
a 1.5TB SATA II 7200rpm drive, an 80GB Intel X25-M 2.5 inch SATA MLC Solid
State Disk, or dual 300GB Western Digital Velociraptor 10,000rpm drives. If a
single NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT doesn’t satiate your gaming appetite, there are
plenty of upgrade options, including two NVIDIA GTX 295 video cards in SLI.

The LAN Warrior is available now from iBuyPower’s website.
