The more the merrier -- isn't that the saying? As the solid state drive market continues to expand, G.Skill is introducing a few new ones to choose from. The Falcon SATA II 2.5" MLC-based Solid State Drive (SSD) Series based on the latest, cutting edge Indilink controller, and they'll be shipping in capacities between 64GB and 256GB.


The drives -- which will be available in 64/128/256GB sizes -- all boast a 64MB DRAM buffer. As for performance, you'll find 230MB/sec read rates and 190MB/sec write rates on the larger two, while the 64GB edition can reach 230MB/sec (read) and 135MB/sec (write). No word on pricing or availability was given, but the full specifications are posted below.

Very similar specs to the vertex drives. I wonder how much these will cost tho.
