TriGem USA today announced its next generation of Averatec all-in-one (AIO) PCs designed to meet evolving user demands for an affordable, yet powerful AIO computer. The Averatec D1133 features HD video playback, a large 18.4-inch LCD screen, wireless keyboard and mouse, Windows Vista, and a dual-core processor.

"The new Averatec all-in-one PC represents the continued expansion of TriGem into the AIO market space," said Henry Hewitt, vice president of sales at TriGem USA. "We already command a strong presence in the market with the earlier introduction of the 18.4-inch Intel Atom-based AIO. This new system is designed with features and capabilities for handling more challenging computing tasks and taking advantage of enriched content increasingly being delivered by popular online news, sports, entertainment and social networking sites."

The Averatec D1133 AIO is competitively priced at an MSRP of $599 and will be shipping in the April/May timeframe. It features an AMD Athlon X2 3250e 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB memory, 250GB hard drive, a DVD optical drive, integrated 1.3 megapixel camera and digital card reader. The Averatec all-in-one PC includes a VESA-ready mount for home or office display applications, or installing in locations where desk or counter space is limited such as kitchens and home entertainment centers. The integrated ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics deliver high-definition cinematic experience for video playback on Web sites that stream HD-quality video.

"More and more Internet sites such as YouTube, Hulu, Vimeo and Vuze are streaming video on demand in the higher-quality HD format," Hewitt said. "The difference from standard video streaming is remarkable. We're talking about video that is clear, crisp and sharp."

TriGem USA and its Averatec brand have a widely respected reputation for stylish designs and innovative, value-oriented products. The new all-in-one PC is optimized for handling everyday computing tasks such as Web browsing, e-mail, word processing, photo editing, home and business accounting, video editing, games and social networking. It includes built-in WLAN wireless 802.11bg networking as well as wired 10/100 network connectivity. The 4-in-1 digital card reader is ideal for transferring photos and video from popular card formats. The PC comes pre-installed with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic.

"Customers are looking for value, convenience and an all-in-one PC that is fully capable of handling any kind of work, home, school or personal entertainment application,' Hewitt said. 'The new 18.4-inch all-in-one Averatec PC fits that bill perfectly. Its stylish, compact design, wireless keyboard and mouse and HD graphics capabilities make it an ideal system for the office desk, kitchen or college dorm."

Averatec's products are backed by a one-year limited warranty and one-year technical support available Monday through Friday 8am-5pm Pacific Time.
