 hey,

I recently moved into a house with all 240v outlets (Italy) I'm using a transforer for my computer and speaker system, but I have a few more things that need 110 voltage. Isit possible to run a powerstrip on a transformer?

I heard a rumor that you could as long as the transformer had enough power to run it.

my transformer is 1600 VA. I want to run my computer, speaker system, and skype phone. Is there a site that has an easy VA to watts converter?

Yes, I think you should be fine as long as you don't abuse the transformer.

General laptop power adapters are automatically adjusts the voltage range is generally between 110v to 240V, in this voltage range can be adjusted for all.
