    Need recommendation

    What I want is a freeware/shareware registry cleaner/mechanic that is as full featured and thorough as possible... trial versions are good too.

    As far as cleaners if on xp i highly reccomend a search for cleanup40. I have used tons of stuff over the years and that programs is the BEST cleaner for xp ever. On vista i would reccomend ccleaner Hope it helps

    CCleaner works great, and I have never had any trouble with it.Yes

    Indeed CCleaner is the way to go

    Yup, CCleaner is great. I also use Auslogic's Registry Defrag.
