    Last night will remain in my mind as the day the RROD plagued my life.  Yes, my xbox officially died last night.  Gave Microsoft a call and they will replace my xbox for free.  So hopefully I'll get a new one with the hdmi port.  Anyone else get hit with the rrod?

    My friends xbox died a few months back. took him A long time to get his new one.

    They told me it would take 2-3weeks.  Now that my internship is over and i go back to college in two weeks, I won't have an xbox to play on for all that time.  Sad

    YAY, I got it back!!!! And it runs significantly cooler than my last one.  So there should be no more futre issues.Big Smile

    Cool.  So far my Elite that I got last summer has been fine.  But the RROD has worried me.  Good to know you get a new one in only a few weeks.

    It's good to see that they are stepping up to the plate and fixing the issue. I hope Nvidia does the same for there faulty hardware.
