    GTX 260 is a monster oc'er

    I thought i would give you nice folks a taste of my gtx260 oc gtx260oc

    well i am still giving it the beans so i will post my final clocks when done.  For those that don't know the rest of my specs

    msi p6n sli

    q6600@ 3.2 on water.( Had at 3.8 and cooked a mosfet of the board....lol and it still works but i can't put enough voltage on it stable now 3.8 or even 3.6 so to not cause epic failure before i can replace the board i settled on 3.2....guess i need a board ...i will see if i can get a clear pic of the burn ...was a scare hour i tell ya but all in a days overclocking i guess ...lol ...i can laugh now about but was totaly pissed at the time)

    4gb mushkin 5,5,5,18 800mhz

    gtx260@ ? on stock cooling!!!!

    any ways there ya go for now will post final clocks when i hit the limits.

    Update:  Ok folks here's the oc with gpu-z validationgtx 260 w/ gpu-z validation

    and the gpu-z validation  I think my ocz 850psu has hit it's limit here as i can here a quiet but there high pitch squeal.

    Nice overclock!

    Is that 59C with the gpu fan set to max? How noisy is the fan?

    Not bad but noise is something i live with since there is 6 kids in the house.

    Oh yes that is 59c under a full load, but remember i don't have the temps of the quad dumped on top of it since it's wet. Every thing else in my can is air. It should be said however that the thermaltake armour with a little help has the best airflow i have ever seen.
