The best way to do it is to get a lint-free cloth and just use that. They have LCD cleaning kits available at pretty much all electronic stores as well which normally includes an extremely watered-down alcohol solution, lint-free cloth, and a "squeeg-i" but again made for an LCD (it has cloth tip).

I normally use a microfiber cloth if it is just dusty. If it is really dirty I will use a Zeiss lens cloth, which is basically a lint free cloth pre-moistened in an alcohol  solution. Since my monitor is really old I am not overly concerned about using these, but if I had a nicer and newer monitor I would use a watered down solution of  isopropyl alcohol.

You have to be careful if you use "electronic wipes" or something of the sort as they are soaked in an alcohol solution...if the solution is not watered down enough it can actually eat away at the protective coating on your LCD

Thanks! My monitor LCD is now clean. I used a little of alcohol in a lot of water with a clean cloth. It worked marvellous!Big Smile
