These modules sport Micron D9HNL IC's. Micron is the most desired IC manufacturer in the consumer base for overclocking, or just quality based modules. I personally picked up a set of these for a friends rig, I was even able to up the voltage to 2.1 (from the 1.9 spec), I ran them at 667 mhz with a 1:1 ratio (synced with the FSB at 3-3-3-8 timings. ^_^...Talk about impressive....As always, lifetime warranty as well. Fantastic value.
My 3gb(2 x 1024, 2 x 512)of G.Skill ram has served me well and my next set of ram will most likely be G.Skill. All 4 sticks contain D9 chips.
BTW: Newegg is always my 1st stop when looking for the best deals on PC hardware!
Indeed ^_^. Great prices, I also forgot to note that my first set had one bad module, I RMA'ed and my second set was flawless...Just incase for those that want to know.
Newegg is indeed my preferred shopping place, but I also use Clubit, NCIX, Tiger Direct, Xoxide, Buy.com, and some others I can't seem to remember...lol
Newegg is where I always purchase everything if possible, But I really hate the mark ups when something has a HIGH demand. Also, for those wanting to grab great psu's at a GREAT price, head over to buy.com, you'd be amazed at their PSU prices for even tier 1 to 3 psu's.
