recently i have bought a dvd player named dapic which plays divx, mpeg files
but i have some video files in my computer which are real player(rm) format files
so what should i do so that i can play rm files in my dvd player
i have done many conversions from rm to divx and mpeg, but then the dvd player is not reading them
could you give me a solution
if your system has 2003/XP/Vista, http://www.codecguide.com/about_real.htmlshould help , and along with try to get the K-lite codec pack.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real_Alternative
What you need to do is convert the .rm files to DivX files which can easily play on the DVD player.
http://www.divx-digest.com/articles/rm2avi.html should do the trick nicely.
Some DVD players have in their manuals specifications for bitrates and what-not which might help you create a video file the unit will play.
