&lt;p&gt;Anyway, I was WOWed until I saw the power consumption under a load -- I have been asking for a while &amp;quot;why would anyone ever need a 1kw PSU???&amp;quot; well.......I guess now I know, lol. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Did you guys have a secondary drive-bay PSU in your system as a &amp;quot;just-in-case&amp;quot; factor? (referring to the 3-way-SLI GTX 280 setup you had)&lt;/p&gt;
