PCI GFX cards don't get very powerful, but I found 1 that will surely outperform the onboard chip your dimension's got.

Here is a link to a decent PCI GFX card: LINK

This card will handle games like Dues Ex, HL2, CS:S and even Doom 3(probably medium settings), but won't stand a chance with newer games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Oblivion and F.E.A.R. except maybe at low rez and settings.

New Video Card, Old Computer

Hey all,

I was looking for a new video card for me but i have a pretty old computer. It's a Dell Dimension 3000 desktop. And all of the video cards I was looking at seemed to be PCI/E. With my computer, I only have PCI slots, I was wondering if a card like NVIDIA 8800 would work with my computer? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
