No offense taken. While You & Super Dave are correct about the Egg being the best it rubs me the wrong way how They caved in to the beaurecrats. I still purchased my HP LP3065 from the Egg, so who knows I'll probably still make purchases from them. However, I'll definitely look at other e-tailers such as Directron, Mwave, Zipzoomfly as well as Tiger Direct.

No offense taken. While true the Egg does offer the most complete line of PC/Electronics, Directron as weel as Mwave & Zipzoomfly offer a fairly nice inventory as well. Who knows I still may continue to buy from the egg. My HP LP3065 came from the Egg.

No offense jtm, but that's not a very good reason for abandoning 1 of the best if not thee best pc/tech e-tailers on the web.

I could go through Tiger Direct and avoid sales tax, but they don't offer the phenomenal 1 year replacement warranty that the egg does on way more than half of their inventory.

Unfortunenately, Newegg & I must part as they now charge NY residents Sales Tax.

They have always charged me tax but they are the best, IMO!
