I personally think when you sit with your family to eat the electronics need to disappear
I'm wondering why there is no mention of placing orders or calling for assistance on these devices. That completely takes care of the human element of the error when ordering. This seems like a rather expensive solution to only allow paying of the bill.
This is somewhat disturbing. I fear that it may eliinate a lot of jobs.

There have been several restaurants here in the L.A area that have tried digital forms of ordering at the table and they have all shut down within 1-2 years. It's just not appealing if I wanted to digitally order I would order online for pickup.
Applebee's already has horrible food and even more horrible service, I don't think this is going to help them.
