as i said in a previous post why does the flagship have a dookie 4gb?
So AMD is going for the 3D FPS crowd exclusively now. All us MMOPG'rs can stay all 7xxx.
4GB is legit
Waiting for reviews, and a response from team green now.
Dogs are great judges of character, and if your dog doesn't like somebody being around, you shouldn't trust them.
We hope to have product in hand soon!

Gtx 780 is where its at
599? Im buying it
Don't forget it will comes with a game. Surely we'll have to buy the premium but its a minus 60$ from the price of the card. I always count it like that + you also have to count the games that will be bundled with the card itself as amd usual deals(never settle something...). I'll pre-order with eyes closed.
Firestrike performance preset of less than 8000? It will have a hard time competing with the GTX770 and HD7970, let alone a GTX780 or the Titan. Considering the 770 and 7970 have scores of 7200 and are priced about the same as the R9-280 (which has only 6500), the only way for AMD to compete will be to make the R9-290 just $400. Any more than that and it quickly loses it's value (especially if nvidia goes with a 770ti/boost at the $400 range).
Not any more it isn't!
Nvidia is no longer supported with most next gen games, they're all going to be ported and written for the new AMD/Radeon consoles.
At last! I can get shot of my 3 ageing Nvidia 570's! May go for two R9 280X's, plenty enough for gaming.
I like the sound of the R9 280X, basically a super-charged 7970GE. 2 of these babies should give anyone a
So, it turns much of the line-up is based on existing silicon, with the exception of the new Big Daddy, Radeon R9 290X. This is not uncommon I guess and we'll likely see the new GPU arch filter down to the midrange and low-end gradually.
So finally AMD ROCK,S
any body know on which site we pre-order these monsters GPU,Z in (UK)
I can't understand it, how is a Firestrike score of 8000 good? My $200 7950 gets a graphics score of over 8000!!
hmmm, lets see, game writers can optimize games for Nvidia with a 62% market share, or AMD with a 38% market share. Tough choice.
Nvidia launched the Titan 8 months ago, AMDs top new card, the R9 290X, just matches it now (yet to be seen). What's the chances of Nvidia possibly introducing something which blows away the 290X next year?
The good news is, you'll be able to pick up the 290X for half the price in 6 months time along with a bucket load of free games.
PS. I have two HD7950's. Fanboy? No, just realistic.
leeb2013:What's the chances of Nvidia possibly introducing something which blows away the 290X next year?
Probably excellent. (maybe ~this~ year) The back and forth between these two companies will not stop.
