If they wanted to get users up and running as quickly as possible, they wouldn't be working "individually with players" so much as fixing the problem on the massive scale. This is why the The Sims on Facebook failed. Their customer service is almost non-existent.
Mac users should be use to 2nd party software issues, been a problem since the 90's
Gaming is not the Mac's strong suit.
But it does work well for a lot of things.
Don't part with your illusions. When they are gone you may still exist, but you have ceased to live.
You can't blame the Mac for the EA / Maxis Sim City problems. I call it greed and laziness. They knew the problems with the PC version, we were willing to wait for a total package and not a port and they still got it wrong.
