It looks like a brick... :|
I'm surprised to see it has only DDR3 memory. I would have liked to see an attempt at something like what Sony did, but I guess it doesn't matter all that much. All the fans will buy it regardless simply because its an xbox. Sony win this generation IMHO, but that might change with later revelations on the PS4
Other than the RAM, and the positioning of the systems to the market the systems will be pretty much the same damned thing on the hardware level, making the developers happy because they now only have to develop the game once (provided no WII U version) and box it up I am pretty sure that some sloppy or genius publishers will have both versions of the game on one disc simply because it will fit. The type of RAM is not as important in the implementation of the RAM yes DDR5 is faster and allows more bandwidth but if its not used effectively then what is the point? Honestly the way I see it MS is not even trying to compete in the console game this time as they are trying yet again at a convergence device, which has not worked any of the other times they have tried it and will likely fail this time too. Sony is wise in keeping the main thing the main thing which is the games, well it seems that way currently only time will tell though. I know I wont do what I did this last gen and buy each system heck I may just sit out this gen.
Sounds like you have the same opinion on this as John Riccitiello. :) http://hothardware.com/News/Former-Electronic-Arts-CEO-Cautions-Sony-and-MS-To-Remember-Their-Core-Audience/
