We’re not all that big on accessories around here, and ZOTAC is calling its new streaming and sharing devices “accessories”, but the two boxes are anything but. One, the StreamBox (not to be confused with the Steam Box), is designed to let users easily share media from a mobile device to a TV or computer. The other, the RAIDbox, is an external storage enclosure in a small form factor.

The StreamBox DM01 runs on a RealTek SoC and features DLNA/Airfun streaming technology, Miracast compatibility for display mirroring, USB file playback capabilities, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi , and 10/100 Ethernet.

Android users will get to use this box with their Android devices and notebooks, but iOS users are apparently out in the cold.

More of a storage enclosure than anything else, the RAIDbox UD10 offers a tool-less design for fast switching and support for two mSATA SSDs. The slim device runs on USB power with a USB 3.0 interface, and it supports RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD, and BIG configurations. It’s compatible with Windows, Mac OS X (Mountain Lion), and Ubuntu 12.04 operating systems.

I am still amazed at the zotac machine I won here a few months ago. It maybe small but it is a very impressive media device. I installed Ubuntu tv and windows 8 on the drive they help make the zotac an even better htpc.

Not sure of the price of this device, but if it doesn't cost to much it seems like it would be great to buy for my dad so he can stream what ever videos he wants to the living room tv.

That RAID box sounds awesome!! The streambox sounds cool too but if its bigger or priced the same as the Zbox Nano then its kind of useless.
