This reminded me a lot of Corning's "a day made of glass". I skipped this link to the mark that shows the future technology of healthcare, however the entire video is worth watching if you haven't already seen it.
Also, the DaVinci system is in most major facilities now (what you see in the picture above). This is one of those systems that allows a surgeon in New York to perform surgery in a hospital in California. Very cool technology, however, I don't see most facilities investing this amount of money in technology. The hospitals we'll see with technology like this will be huge specialty hospitals. Then again, I did go to the pediatric clinic the other day to get my daughters vaccine's and the nurse was using a tablet to chart our visit.
It will be way less than 10-15 years before this is a reality. I can promise you it is already being looked at developmentally by several major players in communications right now.
