Asus' Transformer Pad TF300 has certainly been one of the more enticing Android slates of the modern era. And now, it's about to become even more so. Android 4.2, the latest and greatest version of Jelly Bean, has just been pushed out for the tablet. This update brings Google Now, as well as a ton of Project Butter improvements to enable the OS to operate in a more fluid fashion. Android 4.2 will be released to Transformer Pad owners via a free over the air update starting today in the United States and will be available in other regions during March.

According to Asus: "this new version of Android enhances performance and stability, improves the user experience with new features as well as providing multiple user account logins." If you're wondering when one of your other Asus products will see the same 4.2 leap, take heart. The company has assured the world that the The Transformer Pad Infinity, ASUS MeMO Pad Smart 10", and ASUS MeMO Pad will receive Android 4.2 in Q2.

it seem Asus didn't have the transformer TF300 live up the fans expectations in hardware which didn't beef up in all sector of user expectations; Now Asus's offering a newer OS upgrade that leads to clear out its stocks which doesn't really sell good as Asus thinks [FYI: the red version never see it in live than it just show image in asus it's own site].......then rolling out for the Jelly Bean offering.....@ least getting some cash back from the teasing tricks.
